Who am I

I am a registered, neuroaffirming therapist based in the UK, but my story begins in South Africa — where my passion for understanding people and supporting others first took root. Drawn to the human side of mental health, I eventually moved to Edinburgh to pursue a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. What began as a step toward a new career quickly became a journey of personal transformation.

It was during my studies that I was introduced to person-centred therapy — a model that offered something I’d never really experienced before: space to be seen without judgment. Unlike approaches that focus on fixing symptoms, this one values the whole person. For me, it felt like the missing piece.

Now, with nearly five years of experience, I work with people from all walks of life who feel anxious, low, overwhelmed, or simply not themselves. Many of my clients arrive holding it all together on the outside while struggling quietly inside. Therapy with me is a place to put that weight down.

As a neurodivergent therapist, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience into the room. I don’t see neurodivergence as something to “fix” — I see it as a valid and powerful way of experiencing the world. In my practice, you’ll find an affirming space where you don’t have to mask or pretend.

I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I practise in line with their ethical framework. For me, ethics aren’t just rules — they’re the foundation of trust and safety, which is what allows for real and lasting change.

I know from my own journey that reaching out can feel daunting. You don’t need the perfect words or a clear plan to begin. My promise is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you take your next steps toward healing, freedom, and reconnection.
